UNESCO World Heritage Site

The churches, built by the conquering Spaniards feature many old artifacts including paintings, figures of the tortured Christ and gold church vessels.
The Cathedral of Cusco features over 400 paintings from the 1500's.
The monks were granted an Incan site to build their abbey.
See how the Incan stone work survived earthquakes, while the Spanish work has shifted.
