As we gazed over this vast city in the Andes we tried to imagine where Ali volunteered last year.

The Plaza de Amas (main square), hosting both the Cathedral of Cusco (very left edge of this image) and Companeia de Jesus church. Our hotel was a 15 minute walk away.
