An Evening of Culture

At the Don Antonio Restaurant in Cusco we were treated to an evening of Peruvian music and dance.

Ever prepared, one of our group pulled out his Canadian flag and walked on stage in a display of proud nationalism, in response to the question...'Where are you from?'

Dancers wear a flammable cloth while other dancers, armed with lit candles try to lit the cloth on an opposite gendered dancer. Lots of twists, turns and leaps to avoid the flame!
