Whisked Away

Whisked away is the appropriate term.  Brenda's uncle and aunt picked us up and raced down the autobahn from Muncih to Ulm. While 120 kph was the posted maximum in some areas, other areas had no posted limited. We guessed that the stream of cars passing us were travelling at 150 - 200 kph and others maybe more.

The Autobahn was both a terrifying and exhilarating experience. I am just glad that I was not driving there.  We were told that automobile safety improvements in the last 20 years are estimated to save about 7000 lives each year on this road.
