No ordinary castle, indeed. Built in the 1200's, this red sandstone home to many royal princes, was destroyed by war, partially reconstructed, then struck by lightening, twice. The last fire claimed the building in 1764. Sitting 300 metres above Heidelberg this castle has a happier place in recent history. It was here in 1947, that Brenda's dad, Roman took Giusti on their first date.
