Beginning with the Rosary candles were raised to highlight dedication to the Virgin Mary.
The Rosary was said in twenty different languages by people invited to lead from the gathered crowd.
After the Rosary, thousands of people followed in procession through the prayer square.
The line of people reached around the square and slowly made its way back to the Chapel of the Apparition for a final blessing and goodnight in many languages.
A spiritual and moving way to end our first day.
