We landed today in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius. A group of 47 travelers, journeying from all parts of Ontario, some in family groups, others with friends and still others alone, but all looking forward to adventure and meeting new friends.
Naples, Italy a teaming port city of some 2 million people, offered us weary travelers warmth, sunshine, and palm trees.
After 8 hours in flight and countless hours in transit, we landed tired, happy and eager for the journey ahead.
