Machu Picchu

Leaving the train station we boarded a bus that skillfully took us up a narrow switch back road, that, at times was right against a cliff edge.

It was all worth it when we caught our first glimpse of Machu Picchu ( pronounced pik-chu the natives).

You can see the terraced gardens and remains of houses and temples.
